What changed
Day 3 Sat 2026.10.31
- It now unpacks and recompresses 7z archives and .xz files. It rebuilds the originals on extraction.
- It extracts files from disk images (ISO 9660, UDF) and Windows WIM files, and then compresses them.
- It handles Apple’s LZFSE and LZVN streams and Electron’s asar archives.
- It compresses large files through a temporary file next to the output instead of holding them in memory.
- It saves file metadata and restores it on extraction.
